How much does a custom website cost?
It depends on the pages and features you need, so we quote each project after a short scoping call. The quote is fixed before any code is written, and the only ongoing cost is one flat annual fee for hosting, security, maintenance and email. There is no retainer and no hourly meter.
How long does a build take?
Most business websites launch in four to eight weeks from the scoping call. Web apps and online stores vary with their complexity; the quote includes a timeline. You see working pages as they come together, not just at the end.
Why hand-code instead of WordPress, Squarespace or Wix?
A hand-coded site loads faster, has far fewer things that can break or be hacked, and does exactly what your business needs with nothing bolted on. There are no plugin updates, no theme licences and no builder subscription. You get clean code you own outright.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The code, the content and the domain are yours. If you ever want to move it to another host or developer, we hand everything over. No contract locks you in.
What does the annual fee cover?
Managed hosting on servers we run, SSL, firewalls and security monitoring, backups, routine maintenance, and professional email on your own domain. It is one flat amount per year, quoted with the build.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, where it makes sense. Stores come with a catalog the owners run themselves, and we build simple editing into any site that will change often. For occasional text or image changes, you can also just email us; small edits are part of maintenance.
Do you only work with businesses in Arizona?
No. We are based in the Phoenix area and work with clients anywhere; recent projects are in Florida and Tennessee as well as Arizona. Everything happens over calls, email and shared working pages.
Will the site show up on Google?
Every build ships with technical SEO done: fast pages, clean semantic markup, correct titles and metadata, structured data and a sitemap. Ranking also depends on your content and competition, so if you want ongoing search or marketing help we offer it as an option, never a forced bundle.
